This yoga retreat is located on a remote stretch of beach nestled in the dunes of the Cape Range National Park overlooking the turquoise Nigaloo Reef, Westen Australia. Wake to the song of a butcher bird, the raucous squawks of a galah or the thump of a wallaroo passing by. At night fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the beach, exhausted by a full day of yoga, ocean and food. During the day explore Ningaloo Reef, home to over 500 species of colourful fish and 250 coral species. The World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef is one of the longest fringing coral reefs in the world. Unlike most coral reefs which are located well offshore, the Ningaloo Reef runs within very close proximity to the shoreline. Just beyond the Reef swim with the mighty giants of the ocean – whale sharks, humpback whales, orcas, manta rays and dolphins. In fact, Ningaloo Reef is dubbed the best place on Earth to swim alongside the gentle whale shark! In the rugged landscapes of the Cape Range National Park our guides introduce you to Australia’s unique flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for red kangaroos, wallaroos, rock wallabies, goannas, echidnas and 100 bird species, many of which are the colours of jewels.
Glamping brings a touch of eco-luxe style to this remote and beautiful wilderness. This glamping retreat is hosted at Sal Salis, hidden in the sand dunes overlooking the pristine beaches of Nigaloo Reef. Designed to blend with the environment, the spacious wilderness tents sit on raised platforms and offer wonderful views of the natural surrounds and the ocean beyond, as well as comfortable beds and an eco ensuite bathroom. It provides a unique and natural place from which to explore and take in the extraordinary environment and wildlife that surrounds it. Imagine waking to the song of birds as you catch a glimpse of kangaroos grazing among the dunes, or the spectacle of breaching whales as you tuck into breakfast or enjoy a morning swim in Ningaloo’s crystal clear waters. Your spacious, airy tent is an oasis of comfort that allows you to take in the sounds of the surrounding bush and nearby ocean. The handmade jarrah beds are fitted with quality cotton sheets and are extremely comfortable! Each of the sixteen wilderness tents offers views of the surrounding bush & beach.
