This grounding Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety Workshop will explore mindfulness meditation to cultivate a little more balance throughout the day. 


Learn about stress and anxiety, rewiring the brain and neuroplasticity. This workshop aims to provide you with modern scientific understanding of anxious brain mechanisms and how self-transformation is possible through mindfulness meditation practice.


Expect a science-based lectures, connecting with others moving through similar, and learning anxiety-healing mindfulness meditation, breath awareness meditation, walking meditation, then drop even deeper into a brain-wave state with guided Yoga Nidra (elusive yogic sleep). 


No yoga poses in this workshop — it's all about accessible tools when we can't make it to the mat. All levels and experiences welcome. Suitable for absolute beginners.


What's Included

Learn about rewiring the brain and neuroplasticity for self regulation and self transformation. 


Guided yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to calm the mind and slow brain waves for a renewed sense of peace and wellbeing.


We provide yoga mat and props such as bolster, blocks, blankets and eye pillows to support your practice.


Anxiety-healing mindfulness to help rewire the mind, understand triggers, and cultivate self-awareness and acceptance.


A safe, non-judgemental and supportive environment to share your experience and connect with others. 


To honour the nature of the workshop we limit group size to no more than 20 for a bespoke, yet connective, experience.


Walking meditation to release tension, focus the mind and interrupt anxious thought patterns.


Sip on calming herbal teas and nibble on delicious plant-based treats while you learn and connect.

Emma Ceolin

Emma Ceolin is an experienced international yoga teacher (ERYT®500, RPYT®, RCYT®, YACEP®, RYS®200) based at Gold Coast, Australia. She's also the founder of Yogaventures, Mndfl Mats, and The Anxiety Effect. Emma first found yoga as a therapy for her own anxiety and depression and it changed her life forever. Seven years on, she is now a trauma-sensitive yoga teacher specialising in sharing yoga for mental health, healing and therapeutic benefits. Emma has extensive experience leading an array of sold-out workshops, retreats and teacher trainings across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States. She is best known for being one of the first yoga for anxiety teachers and has now taught hundreds of successful Yoga for Anxiety Workshops worldwide. Expect a gentle, inward and heart-centred practice with an emphasis on breath awareness and mindful movement to soften back in.

I can honestly say that yesterday after this workshop was the most relaxed I have been in eight years. I didn’t realise that with a great instructor, a mat and some extra equipment that I would be leaving the room with a strong epiphany. I love the process we did of talking, listening and understanding stress/anxiety before getting into the practice- because it is crucial to understand what is happening in your body before you try and change anything. I loved learning about aromatherapy and swatching the different senses. I took away so much yesterday and it’s given me another push to keep moving forward.


I recently attended one of the anxiety workshops and I can highly recommend this for anyone who has an interest in learning tools to create a calm environment, whether you experience mild levels of stress or extreme anxiety. Emma shared her own story with a room filled with strangers, making it a comfortable and safe space for others to share. I recently attended the anxiety workshop in Paris, France and gained so much from the experience. Emma is a true inspiration and it's impossible not to be swept up in her passion for yoga. She also knows her subject inside out, so you know you're in safe hands, and she's a lovely person too. As a result of attending the workshop, I now intend to take up yoga properly.


Emma exceeded all my expectations, from sharing her story purposefully, cultivating a safe environment, sharing so much mental health knowledge that blew my mind and gave me new tools to take home including specific poses to do on the mat and breathing exercises. I walked in nervous and anxious and by the end of the workshop I felt deeply relaxed and felt great joy and appreciation to my self for attending and Emma for a brilliant and beautiful workshop.


I recently attended the stress and anxiety workshop, for me there were two things that stood out. Firstly, Emma comes from a place of experience, she has been there, she has experienced depression and anxiety, she understands. This instantly makes her relatable. Secondly, you walk away with practical tools that you can implement immediately, they are simple and easy to do and can be done in the moment when you feel your anxiety levels starting to rise.
